1 day Uganda safari to Bwindi gives two options that is either sleeping in Kigali and you wake up early morning drive to Bwindi Park for trekking or sleeping in kabale or Kisoro town as you drive to the park for trekking then drive to Kigali airport or Hotel. Alternatively, you may do gorilla trekking at volcano national park which also an amazing experience however gorilla trekking permits differ from that of Uganda gorillas.
Tour Itinerary.
Since the journey will start from Kigali, you will wake early morning like at 3am to drive to Rwanda Uganda katuna boarder to trek gorillas in Bwindi impenetrable national park. The journey will take about 3-4 hours drive to the park as you have quick breakfast at the lodge as you head to UWA headquarters for beliefing about dos and don’ts of gorilla trekking. You are expected to pack cameras, wear comfortable hiking boots, long trousers, long t-shirts, rain coat, water &snacks, and many more.
With the help of rangers and guides from UWA, they will lead you to the tropical forest where you’re instructed to keep together during search for gorillas in their jungle. While in the jungle, you will spot various fauna and flora species and various bird species, other primates and many more. While with gorillas, you will be given one hour visit with gorillas and you’re advised to take many photos you want with them but without flash lights. After the activity, you will trek back to your guide and drive back to Kigali for dinner as you rest in your hotel or transfer to the airport for your flight.
