A 15 days Uganda safari Adventure will offer you various activities like chimpanzees tracking, game viewing, boat cruise, nature walks, culture encounters, Gorilla trekking and among other tour activities. Uganda offers 10 national parks and these include Queen Elizabeth national park, Murchison falls national park, Lake Mburo national park, Mt Elgon national park, mountains of the moon, Bwindi Impenetrable national park, mgahinga national park, kidepo valley national park, semuliki national park and kibale national park.
The Uganda tour will start and end in Kampala the capital city of Uganda.
Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe.
Our guide will pick you from the airport on arrival and transfer to Kampala or stay in Entebbe for overnight at Protea Hotel/Le petit Village/Boma Hotel/Cassia Lodge/airport Guest House/Nexus resort.
Day 2: Kampala City Tour.
You will have breakfast at the hotel and then you will picked up from the hotel for a Kampala city tour, and visit Namugongo shrines, where Christian believers were burnt live for failing to denounce their faith, visit the Bahai temple, the only temple in Africa of the Bahai faith, later, visit the National Museum where Uganda cultural regalia are kept. You will have lunch from the city and in the afternoon hours, you will visit Makerere University, Kasubi Tombs, Gadhaffi Mosque, Namirembe Cathedral, Lubaga Cathedral, Lubili King’s palace. Return to your hotel in the evening for dinner
and overnight.
Day 3: Jinja Tour.
You will be picked up from the hotel by the guide after breakfast and head to Jinja city which will take about 3 hours passing via mabira forest where you will spot suger cane on a large scale, tea plantation, you will pass by mabira for zip lining and nature walk to the forest later proceed to jinja for lunch. In the afternoon, you will visit the source of the Nile, and then Bujagali falls however will be options like horse riding and water cycling. Return to Kampala reaching in the evening. Dinner and Overnight stay at your hotel. (Day 1).
Day 4: Transfer to Murchison Falls
You will have a breakfast then proceed to Murchison falls national park which will take about 5-6 hours drive from Kampala. While on the way to the par, you will have an en-route visit to Ziwa Rhino sanctuary for Rhino tracking as you have en-route lunch. Later proceed to Murchison falls national park with a visit to the top of the falls for a remarkable sight and sound of the Nile crushing through a narrow gorge. You will check in at Pakuba Lodge (Deluxe)/Red Chilli Hotel (Budget)/Paraa Safari Lodge (Luxury) for dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Game viewing and Boat cruise
After having an early cup of coffee, you will be picked up by the guide for early morning game drive where you will spot early risers and gracier mammals like lions, leopards, giraffes, elephants, buffalos, kobs, bush bucks and various bird species like Grey crowned crane, wagtail, great blue turacos, white egrets, owls, goliath herons, Egyptian geese, and many more. Return to the lodge for lunch and later head for a cruise trip on the river Nile rewarding hippos, crocodiles, forest elephants and bottom side of Murchison falls. Later return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Transfer to Kibale national park.
After having breakfast, you will checkout at the lodge and set off to kibale national park which is a home of 13 primates species like red tailed monkeys, black and white monkey, vervet monkeys, chimpanzees, baboons, and many more. The journey will take about 5-6 hours where you will have lunch as you warm up for bigodi wetland sanctuary which will take about 2-3 hours footing in the tropical forest of kibale park. During the afternoon activity, you will spot various bird species like grey crowned crane, long horned billed bird, white egrets, spurfowl, great blue turacos and forest elephants, kobs and many more.
Day 7: Chimp habituation Experience/Chimpanzee tracking.
After early morning breakfast, you will proceed to Kanyanchu to start the Chimpanzee habituation experience where you will observe the time-to-time behavior of the chimpanzees. While with chimps, you will be given an ample time to take enough photos for the primates, which will apart from the chimps include Colobus Monkeys, Baboons, vervet monkeys among others. Alternatively, you may go for chimpanzee tracking, staying one hour with the chimpanzees. Return to the lodge for lunch as you warm up for nature walk to the local communities where you will visit rest in bananas, traditional doctors, will be entertained in traditional dances and many more. Dinner and overnight at (Day 6)
Day 8: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth NP & Boat cruise.
As soon as you finish your cup of coffee, you will be transferred to Queen Elizabeth NP with a welcoming wide game view where you will spot various mammals in kasenyi like elephants, buffalos, warthogs, water bucks, bush bucks, mongoose, hyenas, leopards, lions and many more. Check in at Dinner and overnight at Enganzi lodge (Deluxe)/Mweya Safari Lodge/Katara Lodge (Luxury) and have lunch which will be followed by a tremendous boat cruise along the Kazinga channel for scenic views of the lake Edward and George, Hippos, yawning crocodiles, several water birds like cormorants and Pied kingfisher among the others. Dinner and overnight.
Day 9: Game drive and community walk.
You will have an early morning breakfast then head for an early game viewing in the savannah grasslands of Queen Elizabeth national park. You will spot early risers and gracier mammals like lions, buffalos, elephants, warthogs, water bucks, bush bucks and various bird species then after you will return to the lodge for lunch as you warm up for a community walk in the afternoon. The community walk will be led by the guide and involves footing so visitors are encouraged to be physically fit. You may as well visit the Salt mining area on Lake Katwe or the Kasenyi fishing village. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 10: Visit Ishasha sector and Transfer to Bwindi NP.
You will have a relaxed breakfast at the lodge as you check out heading to Bwindi Impenetrable national park. While on the way, you will pass via Ishasha sector where you will spot lion climbing trees as you head to the Bwindi park. The journey hours may differ depending which sector your visiting. Later you will have en-route lunch as you check in at Bakiga lodge/Gorilla Mist Camp/Ruhija lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.
Day 11: Gorilla trekking adventure and transfer to Mgahinga NP.
You will head to the park headquarters after your breakfast with packed lunch to be briefed about the dos and don’ts while with the gorillas then proceed to track the gorillas. On return, transfer to Mgahinga NP reaching in the evening for Dinner and overnight at Travelers Hotel/Gahinga Lodge.
Day 12: Golden monkey tracking and cultural walk.
After having a cup of coffee, you will go for golden monkey tracking adventure immediately after being briefed by the park rangers. However you will be rewarded with other primates in the tropical forest of mgahinga like gorillas, red tailed monkeys, black and white monkeys, vervet monkeys baboons,and various bird species. Then return to the lodge lunch as you warm up for cultural walk with the batwa people who live near the park. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 13: Transfer to Lake Mburo and boat cruise.
After having a relaxed breakfast, you will check out from l0odge and set off to Lake Mburo national park which is the smallest park in Uganda with 370sqkm. While on the way to Mburo, you will have en- route lunch in Mbarara city as you proceed to the park for boat cruise at Lake Mburo. After you will check in at Mburo Safari Lodge/Mihingo Lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 14: Transfer back to Kampala.
You will have breakfast, go for guided nature walk and later set off to Kampala with en route game drive, and stopover to look at the Royal Drum makers, the Equator -where you will be able to stand and be on both hemispheres at once, arriving in the Kampala in the evening and proceed to Entebbe for overnight at 2Friends Hotel/Boma Hotel/Airport Guest House.
Day 15: Ngamba Island and Departure.
In the morning, you will transfer to Entebbe and take a boat cruise to Ngamba Island for half-day chimp feeding. Your will return to Entebbe and visit the Uganda Wildlife Education centre for the scene tour. Later, transfer to the airport to check-in for your departure flight.
