A 3 days Bwindi Gorilla Safari will start and end in Kampala the main capital city of Uganda.
Bwindi Impenetrable national park is located in south western part of Uganda neighboring Virunga conservation area which is comprised of volcano national park in Rwanda, Virunga national park in Democratic Republic of Congo and mgahinga national park in Uganda. The park is well known as a home of mountain gorillas which are close relative of humans due to 98% DNA.

Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi
You will have a morning breakfast, then you will be picked from the hotel then transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable national park which is 9-10 hour drive from Kampala to Bwindi passing via Masaka -Mbarara route. You will have a stopover at the equator for photography, experimentation and lunch in Mbarara town. Then proceed to Bwindi where you will spot Lake Mburo national park, landscapes, Lake Bunyonyi and misty fogged forest of Bwindi. While in the park, you will check in at the bakiga lodge/ Ruhija gorilla lodge / Gorilla mist camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Gorilla trekking & culture tour
You will have breakfast before gathering at the park headquarters with your packed lunch to be briefed about the dos and don’ts while with the gorillas. You will then proceed to track the gorillas in the forest with rangers, an experience that may take half day or full day hours depending on the movement of the gorillas on the day. After spending an hour with the gorillas, descend back to the lodge for refreshment. In the evening, you may go for a nature walk or cultural walk to the Batwa community. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Departure
In the morning after a relaxed breakfast, you will check out from the lodge then set off back to Kampala reaching in the evening and transfer to Entebbe airport to check-in for your departure flight if on schedule.
