Murchison falls national park lies in eastern part as the largest and oldest park in Uganda. The park covers an area of 3893sqkm above the sea level and famously known for the most powerful falls in the whole world in masindi district. Kibale national park is located in western part of Uganda and famously known for chimpanzee tracking and chimpanzee habituation along mubende-fort-portal route.

Day 1: Travel to Zziwa rhino sanctuary and Murchison falls national park.
You will wake up early in the morning, have breakfast and the guide will pick you at 8am from city square as you head to Murchison falls national park in masindi district. It will take about 7 hours to reach the lodge where you will spend two nights while in the park. The lodge gives the best lake side view and green vegetation around it accompanied with cool breeze. While on the way to Masindi, the guide will make stopover at migela town where you will enjoy the chicken, beef road side as you enjoy the journey. While on the way, the guide will take you through ZZiwa sactuary where you will have good time with Rhinos and later proceed to the lodge. You will be welcomed and offered rooms where you will freshen up as you relax and warm up for dinner at the lodge.

Day2: game viewing & boat cruise.
Despite the fact that the best time to view mammals in the park is early morning hours, you will be advised to wake up early morning, prepare as you get breakfast. The guide will pick you up at 6pm as you head into game viewing where you will spot early riser and gracier mammals like lions, elephants, Uganda kobs, warthogs, bush bucks, giraffes and many more. While on game viewing, you will be able to spot various bird species like white egrets, grey crowned crane, kingfishers, hammerkob and many more. The game viewing will take about 2-3 hours and you will relax at the lodge where you will have lunch as you prepare for boat cruise afternoon to the bottom side of Murchison falls. During boat cruise, you will spot school of hippopotamus , forest elephants, bush buchs , buffalos along the lake shores with various bird species. The activity will take about 2-3 hours then after the guide will take you to the lodge for relaxation.
Day3: visit falls & travel to kibale national park
You will have breakfast then the guide will take you to the top to see the most powerful falls in the world. Murchison falls is beautifully naturally made with Uhuru falls neighboring it that was formed due to flooding. if at all you access the falls when the sun is out, you will be able to spot the spectacular rainbow on the falls which will leave you speechless but only to give you the best memorable photos that you will live to remember. After the falls, you will proceed to kibale national park which will take about 5-6 hours as you enjoy the beautiful sceneries along the way. While on the way, visitors will have lunch in Hoima as they proceed to kibale park where you will spend 3 nights at kyaninga safari lodge or Lake Nyamirima cottages or chimpanzees forest lodge which gives the best view of lake Kyaninga, Lake Nyamirima and lake Nyabikere respectively.
Day 4: chimpanzee tracking & children activities.
You will wake in the morning; have breakfast and the guide will pick you from the lodge to UWA center. Visitors above 15 years of age will be accepted to trek chimpanzees and will have a brief procedures of do and don’ts of chimpanzees tracking. Visitors are expected to pack like comfortable hiking boots, long trouser, long t-shirts, cameras, rain coat, water &snacks and many more. The activity may take half day or full day since it involves searching of chimpanzees in the tropical forest of kibale however children below 15 years have their activities like forest education and story tales which gives their parents peace of mind knowing that children are safe with guides. When the activity is done, you will relax at the lodge as you chat with friends and families due to free wifi and have drinks of your choice from the bar as you warm up for dinner.
Day 5: nature walk , birding and spa.
Just like each day is a new experience, you will wake up and have breakfast at the lodge. The guide will take you to bigodi wetland sanctuary where you will meet other guides that will lead you in a short brief for nature walk around the park. As soon as the brief is done, the guides will let you into the wetland where primates like red tailed monkeys, velvet colobus monkey, chimpanzees will be spotted along the way and birds like long horned billed bird, grey crowned crane, white egrets, kingfishers and farming of local people like coffee, maize and G.nuts. The activity will take about 2-3 hours and need one to be physical fit. After, the guide will take you back to the lodge where you have lunch as you prepare for a healthy spa massage as you enjoy different species of butterflies flying around the lodge.
Day 6: cultural encounter.
You will have a delicious breakfast at the lodge then you will be guided in local communities of kibale park. The park is surrounded by batooro who known to be the natives and bakiga who are migrates but with different cultures. The guides will take you through rest in bananas where banana juice is made out of ripped matooke, visiting traditional herbalists, visiting local markets to support their businesses, joining their traditional dances, storytelling and many more which makes the safari memorable. After, the guide will take you to the lodge for rest.
Day 7: Departure to Kampala.
You will have breakfast as you set off from the lodge back to Kampala.
