iBwindi Impenetrable national park is located in south western part of Uganda bordering Rwanda and Democratic Republic of Congo. The park is famous known as a home of over 400 mountain gorillas that are located in four sectors that is Buhoma, Ruhija, Nkuringo and Rushaga. However, Gorillas can also be spotted in Mgahinga thus Uganda inhabits half of the Gorillas in the whole world. Besides gorilla trekking, the fogged misty forest of Bwindi inhabits birding for bird lovers, culture encounters of Batwa and nature walks

Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi
You will be picked up from the airport or from the hotel after having breakfast, our guide will take you to Bwindi Park from Kampala which is about 9-10 hours’ drive using Masaka- Mbarara route. While on the way, you will spot various beautiful sceneries like Lake Mburo national park, lake Bunyonyi , forest of Bwindi, beautiful landscapes of Swiss of Africa, and many more. You will have lunch is Mbarara city and proceed to Bwindi where you will be welcomed at the lodge for an overnight and dinner.
For those that need a flight to Bwindi, you will be picked up from Entebbe International airport which will take about 2 hours to Kisoro airstrip. Whereas on the way you will also spot mammals in Lake Mburo, Lake Bunyonyi and landscape. After reaching airstrip, you will be picked up by our guide to drive to Bwindi.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking and nature walk.
Despite the fact that gorilla trekking is done early morning hours, visitors are advised to have their breakfast early and set off from the lodge to UWA center where you will be briefed to know the dos and don’ts of gorilla trekking. After the briefing, visitors are expected to pack cameras, comfortable hiking boots, long trousers, long t-shirts, rain coat, and many more. Visitors above 15 years are allowed to trek gorillas however limited to 8 individuals per gorilla family distancing themselves 7meter while they are with gorillas. The activity may take half or full day depending where gorillas have been spotted that’s why they are briefed to pack water &snacks.
After gorilla trekking, you will be taken to the lodge for lunch and you relax warming up for nature walk into the forest and local communities neighboring the park. During nature walk visitors will spot various bird species and will be able to visit Batwa culture.
Day 3: Departure.
Since it is a last day of the trip, you will make your luggage ready as you join the restaurant for breakfast before setting off back to Kampala.
